This was my second time and I throughly enjoyed my stay. I especially loved it because as a woman traveling alone it felt very safe. I can't stop talking about how comfortable the bed was and also the pillows. Trish was friendly and amazing and the breakfast was delicious.
This B&B is in a prime location to enjoy downtown Fayetteville. From my first night to the last, the staff took good care of me. I have a special diet restrictions and they were very accommodating. Thank you
There are a lot of nice details in room decor. We were served a wonderful breakfast. Katy was very accommodating with our reservation. Because of weather we could not be there the night we reserved. She allowed us to change to another night. Only negative was train noise.
I stayed here solo for 2 days. It was fantastic. The lookout room is the best because it was the only room in the house with a TV. The other rooms don't have one, so download some shows on a tablet or something if that's a deal breaker, but it shouldn't be. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was so clean and the beds were comfy. I can't wait to return!
Great communication before arrival and our room was quite comfortable. Common spaces we also perfect for reading and watching baseball on my iPad. We appreciated the cleanliness of the home and the chocolate chip cookies provided. Pretty easy walk to downtown (we walked to and from a ballgame). Breakfast was delicious!
We enjoyed our stay at MacPhearson Bed and Breakfast , the house was lovely, very comfortable, very clean, and restful. The refreshments after a long trip was so welcoming. What a lovely B&B. The rooms were very nice, large and well appointed. The walk into downtown was very easy and short. The breakfast the next morning was very delicious. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
We enjoyed our stay as, in itself, it was a relaxing vacation. Our room had an abundance of natural light, easily darkened for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious. While the distant railroad was within hearing, the melodic horn added to our night time relaxation. (Earplugs were readily available as well, but we had no use for them.) We were traveling from Maryland to Charleston for a wedding. We hope to have another reason to stay in the future.
My husband and I visited The MacPherson House and spent two evenings there, this week, 4/1-4/3/2026, We had an absolutely amazing time! The room was fabulous! The food was divine! The area was beautiful and we felt safe walking around. The staff were incredible. The beds and the pillows were so comfortable. I would love to know what kind of pillows you use, because I would buy them! We were in the Campbellton Room, downstairs bedroom, with the king's sized bed and claw foot bathtub, which was amazing! I had a nice, hot bubble bath in that beautiful tub. I wish we could've stayed another week or two! I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone and everyone! Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay felt like sweet home away from home. We appreciated the thoughtfulness that went into every detail from the decor, accommodating our pet, and a beautifully prepared breakfast in the morning. We were very comfortable and taken care of after a long day of travel and that is meaningful to us. If we ever pass through the area again we will definitely book a stay! Thank you! Definitely 10/10!
